Crete Mural Committee

The Mural Committee, in conjuction with the Crete Area Chamber of Commerce has launched a campaign to visually present the rich history of Crete in a series of tastefully done, colorful Murals. Placed in significant locations and on appropriate buildings, the Murals will enhance the streets and avenues of beautiful, quaint Crete.

The first in the series, "Reflections of Crete", will be displayed at a prominent Dixie Highway/Main Street site. Successive Murals will depict the history and growth of Crete and its development in the areas of commerce...industry...recreation...and Crete's continuing commitment to family values.

Now You Can Purchase Mural Prints!

You may purchase prints of the mural at The Finishing Touch, The Crete Library, Attorney Phyllis Monks' Office, and The Village Hall. Prices are $20 $25 and $30 for the prints in 3 sizes. For more information, please contact Tim Piepenbrink at 672-8212.
